Mads & Lars knighted  by Her Majesty Margrethe 2nd, Queen of Denmark.

Lars and Mads were both knighted by the Queen Margreth II of Denmark (Mads in 2010, Lars in 2011).

Mads: “I was a little nervous, I must admit. I had put the finest clothes on. It was very serious, I said "Your Majesty” to Queen Margrethe, and she knew about my films. She had seen “Flame & Citron”!“ 

Lars: ”That was great fun, but I sort of fucked it up. I was told outside that the rules were simple; you approach her, but not too close, then you say thank you for the knighthood and then you start the conversation. I forgot to say thank you and on the way out I turned around and said “Oh and thanks for the knighthood!”
