I photographed Mads Mikkelsen months back and thought to share this funny story with you. On the red-carpet he was being interviewed by a German reporter, she ended the interview with “please say something to us in German” - he said ” I don’t know German.. I can’t think of anything to say”. Then he looks at me asking-” What can I say?” - I quickly answered ” Ich liebe dich?” (I love you).. he lit up and repeated to me, ” Ich liebe dich!”. I smiled and said,.. ” yeah, I always knew those would be your first words to me!”. Everyone was laughing + the interviewer thanked me for making a fun ending. The next night we saw each other again on the red carpet, he paused with a mischievous smirk - The photo above."
